Editorial policy
KCM Academy is written by the KCM Academy Editorial Team and published by KCM Trade. This page explains how we write, check, review and update our pages, what we will not publish, and how to tell us about a mistake.
About KCM Academy explains who publishes the academy and what it covers.
How lessons are written
Every lesson comes from a structured course of modules across three levels. Each lesson has a set place in that course and a clear learning goal, and it covers one topic so that pages do not repeat each other.
Lessons are written in plain English. A new term is defined the first time it appears. Examples use made-up numbers, not real client accounts or trades, and they show losses as clearly as gains.
Pages carry the byline KCM Academy Editorial Team. We do not attach personal names to lessons.
How we check facts
- Every number in a worked example, table or chart is recalculated before publication.
- Facts that can change over time, such as market hours, rules or historical events, are checked against primary sources, such as regulators, central banks, exchanges and official statistics. The source is cited on the page with the date it was checked.
- Each page lists its sources so you can check them yourself.
How pages are reviewed
KCM Trade Compliance reviews every page before it is published. A page shows the line Reviewed by KCM Trade Compliance with a date only once that review has taken place.
How pages are kept up to date
We re-check a page when a rule, a market convention or a fact it relies on changes, and we correct it if needed. Each page shows the date it was last updated.
What we do not do
- We do not give investment advice or personal recommendations.
- We do not publish trading signals or tell you what to buy or sell.
- We do not promise or imply profits, income or guaranteed outcomes.
- We do not invent authors, experts, credentials, reviews or ratings.
Corrections
If you find an error, please tell us through the KCM Trade contact page. Include the address of the page and what you believe is wrong. We will check it against our sources and correct the page if needed, and the updated date will change when we do.
